2012 Post # 6 - A Great movie..The Flowers of Wars.

Ya ya tahu..saya agak ketinggalan sudah tengok ni movie...actually dari last year lagi d/load tapi baru semalam saya ada masa tengok itu pun selepas habis episod Supernatural S06.

Walaupun movie ni agak panjang sampai 2 1/2 jam..tapi bagi saya sangat berbaloi dan banyak moral disebalik cerita tersebut. Well saya ni kalo pasal review movie kurenggg sikit..apa kata korang baca synopsis yang saya copy paste dari website ni.

An American mortician, John Miller (Bale), arrives in Nanjing in order to bury the foreign head priest of a convent for Catholic girls, just after the city was bombed and invaded by theJapanese forces. A short time after his arrival at the convent, a group of flamboyant prostitutes from the local red-light district find their way to the compound looking for shelter, as foreigners and foreign institutions seem to be left alone by the marauding Japanese soldiers. While the prostitutes hide out in the cellar, Miller struggles with and finally gives in to his feelings of responsibility to protect the teenage schoolgirls, and poses as the convent's priest when the compound is repeatedly visited by Japanese soldiers looking for girls to rape. With the help of Chinese collaborator Mr. Meng (Kefan), who is the father of one of the girls, he starts to repair the convent's truck in case there should be an opportunity to bring the girls out of Nanjing.

Japanese Colonel Hasegawa (Atsuro Watabe) finally promises to protect the convent by placing guards in front of the gate, and requests that the girls sing a choral for him. After the perfomance, he hands Miller an official invitation for the girls to sing at the Japanese army's victory celebration. Fearing for their safety (especially since the guards' main concern seems to be not letting any of the girls leave the compound), Miller declines. Kato informs him that it is not a request, but an order and that the girls are going to be picked up the next day. Before they leave, the Japanese soldiers count the girls and erroneously include one of the prostitutes (who has strayed from the cellar looking for her cat), totalling 13.

Induced by their de-facto leader Yu Mo (Ni), the prostitutes decide to protect the girls by meeting the Japanese on their behalf. As they are only twelve, the former convent priest's adopted son volunteers as well. Miller initially opposes to their self-sacrificing decision, but ultimately assists them in disguising using his skills as a mortician.

The next day, the 13 are led away by the unsuspecting Japanese soldiers. After they have left, Miller hides the convent girls on the truck he repaired. Using a single-person permit Mr. Meng was able to obtain, he drives out of the town. In the last scene, the truck is seen driving on a deserted highway in Western direction, away from the advancing Japanese army, towards safety.

Bagi yang belum tengok ni movie ..i'm highly recommended! :-)

Yehaaaa it's saturday!! and as for the weekend, tonight im looking forward to watch movie "Johnny English" with ma sista and gfrens.Suda balik2 kena tunda..ni kali mesti mau pigi.Sa tau ketinggalan suda ni, my colleagues pun masing2 sibuk suda jadi "pengulas" terhormat..ish ishh terpaksa lah buat2 tdk dengar. Mau juga tengok sendiri baru bestkan.

Hari ni sa relax sikit sebab hq kami kan cuti so teda orang yg kacau cari sa..ngeh ngeh! Kalo tdk jan haraplah sa buli lengang kangkung menaip entri di blog ne sekarang. T_____T. 

Ok jangan terkejut sebab tiba-tiba ada muka sposen di atas hahahaha..beginilah muka hudu saya kalo tidak kena paitung tapi itu bukanlah tujuan sebenarnya sa meng-uploadkan gambar ni..sa cuma mau kasi "show off" (sis wyne pinjam tagline dulu arr) tu gigi selepas kena buat "filling" yg di depan tu.Hari tu sa sibuk2 di fb tanya pasal klinik pergigian mana yg bagus dengan harga yg berpatutan.Ramai juga yg bagi cadangan which klinik yg bagus tapi last2 sa pigi juga yg berdekatan tempat tinggal sa iaitu klinik pergigian di Putatan.Untuk dua gigi yg kena buat "filling" tu sa kena charge rm150..service sangat cepat dan bagus.tapi kebersihan tu masi buli kasi improve lagi.Tapi overall puas hati juga lah..at least sekarang ni buli suda sa senyum lebar2 hahaha.

Sa neh jarang menonton malay movie kalau di cinema...tapi hari tu sa sangat curious dengan tajuk movie "...dalam botol" atau tajuk sebenar "anu dalam botol". So sa pun paksa kawan sa pi tgk movie ne di 1B.dan untuk pengetahuan kamu, kawan sa adalah sangatla tidak fan dengan malay movie, tapi hari tu sa telah berjaya memujuk dia dengan sebiji candy! hebat kan? ok ok  sa tipu sebenarnya dia kecian tgk muka sposen sa boooo

Seperti yang dijangkakan..movie baru start dalam 5mins mcm tu,kawan sa menguap suda....dalam masa 20mins dia hampir terlelap....sa pula terasa bersalah sebab bukan saja kerana kawan sa keboringan tahap gaban tetapi..................jalan cerita movie neh telah membuatkan sa dengan rela hati mengajak kawan sa keluar dari cinema tu walaupun  baru separuh jalan ditayangkan..perkara yang tidak pernah sa lakukan sebelum ini....nasib baik kawan sa cool saja..tapi nda taulah pula kalo dlm hati kan....T______T  haizzz padan muka sa ;(

tdk payahlah sa buat review pasal ne movie...korang faham2 ja lah..kalo half way suda keluar dari cinema tu kannn. So next time baik tunggu ja keluar di astro..selamat juga duit bikin beli tiket.

p/s tapi hari tu tengok movie hikayat merong mahawangsa..best saja..:)

Bikin KETAGIH!

Ini la salah satu sebab kenapa sa selalu lewat tidur, once start tgk series movie neh memang susah mo stop. Boleh dikatakan salah satu penyumbang besar kenapa pc sa cepat kong sebab neh lah non stop download movie..nahh keteh!

So antara empat orang hot mama neh mana satu karakter yang paling kamu suka? kalo sa..sa admire karakter si Gaby atau nama sebenar Eva Longoria.Dia neh memang seorang yang happy go lucky person dan paling lucu dalam movie neh. Yang lain2 pun sa suka juga sebab dorang ni masing-masing ada keunikannya tersendiri Dari season 1-7 memang sa tidak pernah ketinggalan tgk movie neh. Betul2 addicted suda orang cakap.Di Astro pun main suda..kalau tak silap mungkin dah sampai episod 6-7.  

Bagi sa dalam movie neh banyak memberi pengajaran kepada kita...kebanyakannya memang berlaku dalam kehidupan seharian kita tapi bukan 100 % lah..i mean kita ambil contoh yang baik seperti persahabatan dorang..walaupun selalu ada salah faham,bercanggah pendapat, busy body dan saling bersaing antara satu sama lain tapi bila ada salah seorang mereka yang dalam kesusahan..masing2 pun datang menghulurkan bantuan.

Banyak lagi series movie yang sa suka tgk seperti Glee, Army wives,grey's anatomy dan macam2 lagi lah.semua pun bikin ketagih..neh belum campur lagi korean drama..haizzzz. 

Sa rasa kamu pun macam tu juga ba kan?? baik mengaku! heheheh.

My review......

This movie was fantastic! It was touching and entertaining..basically it's about a girl that has cancer and how the family is dramatically moved by it.The story could happen for each one of us and it can be a problem in our lives. If u want to d/load this movie , u can go to this website axxo movie...but makesure u have to d/l the bittorrent's software 1st kay.

Synopsis;
